Behind the Design: How We Create Our Perfume & Fragrance Advent Calendar

Each year's calendar is different, featuring a curated selection of ARRAN's most-loved fragrances chosen specifically for the seasonal range. This year's calendar includes our new seasonal limited edition scents alongside collection favourites. You can shop our advent here.

The calendar is designed in-house by Steve, ARRAN's Design Manager, who leads the seasonal packaging process from initial mood boards through to final artwork, including the hand-drawn details that make each year's design unique.

Yes. Each year begins with a new theme, new fragrance selections and entirely new packaging artwork. The design process starts months in advance, beginning with fragrance review and mood board development before moving into concept and final artwork stages.

This year's theme, Christmas Carousel, was inspired by the traditional character of one of the key seasonal fragrances Orange & Clove which prompted a Victorian Christmas mood board and the decision to hand draw the design details for a more authentic feel.

Our Perfume & Fragrance Advent Calendar is currently live, plus you can get FREE UK delivery on all Advent purchases. It sells out every year, often earlier than the year before, so we would recommend not leaving it too long.
