From behind the scenes to the shop floor, each of them brings their own story, skills and inspiration to the ARRAN family — and we’re proud to celebrate the impact they make. Katy - Purchasing Assistant What is your role at ARRAN and how long have you been here? Purchasing assistant – been back 5 years after coming back to the company – was here previously between 2006 and 2012 when I left after maternity. Assistant to purchasing manager Julieann and we order everything the business needs, from ingredients to packaging, from stationary to toilet roll. What is your favourite spot on Arran/any fond memories? Kildonan as that’s where home is and can’t beat the view of Pladda from my house on a sunny day What is your favourite ARRAN product and why? Island Dusk is my ultimate favourite but closed followed by Kildonan, the fragrance in both is amazing Pauline - Commercial Analyst What is your role at ARRAN and how long have you been here?I have worked for ARRAN for 10 years now as a Commercial Analyst within the Finance Department. I work with many areas of the business, from providing a production forecast for our manufacturing team, to supporting our Sales team with pricing and sales analysis.What is your favourite spot on Arran/any fond memories?We completed a charitable walk through Glen Rosa a few years back – the scenery was beautiful and a perfect place to connect with nature.What is your favourite ARRAN product and why?I am currently loving the new Island Dusk fragrance. It’s such a soft, warm fragrance that is so easy to wear and works for both a winter and summer perfume. I am also a big fan of our 2L refill products – such good value for money!! Kira - Digital Content Executive What is your role at ARRAN and how long have you been here?I've worked at ARRAN for just over 4 years, starting as Digital Content Executive then progressing to Marketing Executive. I work across lots of different areas from creating content and posting across our social channels, to assisting in PR and influencer content and lots in between - no two days are the same!What is your favourite spot on Arran/any fond memories?I'm ashamed to say I had never been to Arran before working at ARRAN Sense of Scotland but I absolutely love it there. My favourite spot is probably Cladach Beach House and of course no trip to Arran is complete without a visit to the Arran Chocolate shop! What is your favourite ARRAN product and why?It's so tricky to choose a favourite product but I love our Naturals range, especially Uplift Body Scrub and the Renew Body Wash. A more recent favourite is definitely our new Island Dusk collection - I'm excited for the expansion of the collection (keep your eyes peeled!) so I can layer the scent across products. Arlene - Business & Hospitality Manager What is your role at ARRAN and how long have you been here?My role is Corporate & Hospitality Business Manager which I have been doing for now over 6 years! I look after the Hospitality Industry in Scotland, working with a variety of different clients. I spent over 20 years working in the health and fitness industry and working in hotels. David Lloyd to Virgin Active before moving onto looking after One Devonshire Gardens and Hotel du Vin St Andrews. This has experience has ben a great asset for my current role with ARRAN!What is your favourite spot on Arran/any fond memories?My favourite spot would have to be on Brodick Bay – as this photo was taken there, so it feels special to be working for ARRAN after having such fond memories of family holidays on the island.What is your favourite ARRAN product and why?I love our new fragrance Island Dusk which is a perfect scent for this time of year. Claire - Quality Assurance Manager What is your role at ARRAN and how long have you been here?I first started working for ARRAN back in my university holidays in 2001 since then I have had many different roles through a lot of different areas of the business including: sales assistant in our factory shop, line Operative in the factory, Web Dispatch Supervisor and Customer Services. After a spell of travelling the world I returned to Arran in April 2009 and landed my current role as the Quality Assurance Manager and have been in this role for nearly 17 years now.What is your favourite spot on Arran/any fond memories?One of my favourite spots on Arran is Kildonan, my partners family home is in Kildonan and their house is in an elevated plot with amazing views of Pladda and Ailsa Craig on a sunny day it's just perfect.What is your favourite ARRAN product and why?My favourite ARRAN product is Kildonan EDT, it was one of our first new product launches in over 10 years and I just fell in love with it the first time I smelled samples of the fragrance, its the perfect sweet blend of Violet & Orris and I now use it everyday.
