Deodorant. It's something we pick up and use daily without much of a second thought, but is your high street deodorant really giving you the best results? You've maybe seen an increase in the different types of deodorant available and today we'll dive into why natural deodorant is on the rise...

Let Your Body Work

Did you know your body is meant to sweat? We're taught from a young age that we should do everything possible to stop sweating but we're not taught how important this natural function is. Sweating helps your body to regulate its temperature as well as releasing toxins. Regular deodorants and anti-perspirants often contain chemicals that block your pores whereas natural deodorants allow your body to still function as it's meant to, as well as prevented body odour.

ARRAN Naturals Deodorant

Our Natural Deodorants are 100% vegan, cruelty free and made with ingredients up to 99.9% natural origin, containing far less nasties than your standard deodorant or anti-perspirant. We're also proud of our 100% natural fragrance formulation, keeping sensitive skin happy.

Pick your mood from our Expressions. Use Awaken for those early morning starts, Mindful for your weekend strolls, or Calm for your evening yoga.

Changing to Natural Deodorant

Making the change can be tough but we promise it's worth it! To get the best results with your new deodorant we recommend you stop using all deodorants for a few days to let your skin detox and reset, then start. When you first switch, you may experience more sweating and body odour than you're used to which is completely normal, due to the change of bacteria under your arms. Your body has become accustomed to the ingredients in anti-perspirant such as aluminium salts which can clog pores. This is a short-term adjustment and can range from 2 – 4 weeks. Not everyone will experience this as everyone is different.
