These talented individuals play a vital role in making ARRAN Sense of Scotland what it is today. Join us as we shine a spotlight on their hard work, passion, and the unique journeys that have led them to be a part of our story. FIONA Head of Finance Tell us about yourself and your role at ARRAN: “As Head of Finance, no two days are the same – which is one of my favourite things about my job! I joined Arran in November 2023 and have loved getting to know the brilliant people we have all around the business, and of course, trying as many of the products as I can get my hands on. Outside of work I love to spend time outdoors, preferably sailing but I also enjoy walking, skiing and a bit of gardening.” Which is your favourite ARRAN product: “Anything from the ARRAN Naturals Calm range – it smells absolutely beautiful and is like relaxation in a bottle. I’m generally not a big lavender fan, but this has me converted! I’m particularly fond of the body wash and always have a refill bottle in the cupboard.” KIM Digital Content and Marketing Manager Tell us about yourself and your role at ARRAN: “I'm the Digital Content & Marketing Manager for ARRAN, I’m responsible for shaping our digital marketing strategies, overseeing our online and offline brand presence, and creating engaging content across various platforms. Outside of work, I’m often to be found in the park with my two very energetic staffies, I love movies and a good binge-watch on TV. I’m a big fan of travelling and try to see at least two new countries a year, while always making time to visit our island home of Arran as much as possible.” Which is your favourite ARRAN product: “I love many different ARRAN products and use the After the Rain daily, however when it comes to home fragrance, I don’t like to be without the Jasmine & Philadelphus 35cl Candle. It smells incredible even when unlit, it has a clean, freshness unlike anything else.” EMMA Corporate and Hospitality Manager Tell us about yourself and your role at ARRAN: “I joined Arran Sense of Scotland 6 years ago as Corporate and Hospitality Manager following almost a 20-year career within the Hotel Industry. My role involves Account Management for our existing clients (and a few further afield) as well as developing new hotel and corporate accounts in England, so if you are looking for hotel amenities or corporate gifting and based in England, I am the person to speak to! A little bit about myself, After living in Edinburgh for 10 years, I relocated with back down to England in 2019 with my husband and we are now living the country life in Rutland. I am a keen explorer, and love going anywhere new. I spend a lot of my time roaming the country with my extremely energetic spaniel Harry in tow. We have just bought a kayak and so will be spending the summer months exploring from the water.” Which is your favourite ARRAN product: “I tend to change my fragrances through the seasons. I love everything from the Glenashdale range in the summer months, it’s such a refreshing and mood boosting fragrance. I always keep the body mist in my handbag for when I am running too and from appointments in the hotter months of the year. However, I adore After the Rain, particularly when I want a relaxing bath at the end of a busy week.” Jacqui Wholesale Business Manager Tell us about yourself and your role at ARRAN: “I first joined ARRAN as a Business Manager in 1991, working as a sales representative before taking a break to start my family. In 2016, I returned for a short-term maternity cover role during ARRAN’s rebrand—but nearly nine years later, I’m still here! I now manage wholesale customers across the UK, from garden centre groups to independent stores, ensuring they stay informed about new developments and providing support through store visits and events. A little bit about myself, I grew up in Grangemouth, where I still live with my husband, James. We met through Falkirk Children’s and Youth Theatres, and our two children, Christopher and Louisa, now work in London’s theatre industry. With an outgoing personality from a young age, I pursued a career as a professional cabaret singer, performing at venues like Cameron House and Gleneagles. I also enjoy compering events and making people feel welcome—perhaps why I found my place in sales, where building genuine connections is key.” Which is your favourite ARRAN product: “I am biased of course and love all Arran’s products. However, since the launch of Kildonan, this may be my favourite.” Hailey Ecommerce Executive Tell us about yourself and your role at ARRAN: “I have recently joined as an Ecommerce Executive and have absolutely loved working at ARRAN. The company has such a rich and deep connection to its Scottish history which I find inspiring and fulfilling to be apart of, especially being from Scotland and living here my full life. The team are incredibly supportive and working here has given me the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of projects. Working in Ecommerce I play a role in driving the company’s online presence and sales, ensuring customers have a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience. I work closely with our Marketing and IT teams to optimise our online store which includes managing product listings, working on promotional campaigns and helping analyse sales data to improve our digital strategy. A little bit about myself, as the ultimate dog mum, there’s nothing I love more than curling up with my 9-year-old Shih Tzu, Dudley, and a great book. A true bookworm at heart, I’ve lived in Glasgow my whole life and can always be found browsing for my next read—or indulging in a little retail therapy. Whether it’s clothes, makeup, or a new book, shopping is my guilty pleasure, and I fully embrace my girly-girl side! Which is your favourite ARRAN product: “I love every ARRAN product but anything from the After The Rain collection has to be my favourite, not only is the scent beautiful but my mum always used the Shower Gel and Eau De Parfum growing up so it holds a lot of nostalgic and sentimental value. I also LOVE the ARRAN Naturals Uplift Body Polish, it smells amazing and really helps exfoliate and smooth the skin… perfect for a little pamper night.” Kira Marketing Executive Tell us about yourself and your role at ARRAN: "I joined ARRAN Sense of Scotland back in 2022 as Digital Content Executive, looking after our social media channels, press releases and blog posts. Earlier this year I made a shift to Marketing Executive where I continue to oversee our social media channels, press releases and get to do loads of fun things like planning events and collaborations with other companies and influencers! In my spare time you'll often find me baking (which I try to plan around our team's office days!) or with my nose stuck in a book. I also love a quiz so if you ever need an extra person for your pub quiz team, you know where to find me!" Which is your favourite ARRAN product: "Picking just one favourite ARRAN product is quite tricky - I've got at least one item in every room of my house! My standout product though is our Awaken Natural Deodorant. I've tried a couple natural deodorants but never one I've stuck with until I tried ARRAN's. I love the application, it lasts throughout the day plus it's fully recyclable which is really important for me." Natalie Ecommerce Manager Tell us about yourself and your role at ARRAN: "I’m the Ecommerce Manager at ARRAN Sense of Scotland and I look after all things to do with our website to ensure a seamless experience. I have been with the company now for 3 years and it’s such a great team to be part of! Whether it’s a walk on the beach or exploring the never-ending coffee shops and bakeries of the southside of Glasgow, at the weekend you’ll find me with my border terrier, Nelly." Which is your favourite ARRAN product: "I love so many of the ARRAN products, it's a tough choice to pick a favourite. My go to right now is the Apothecary Seaweed & Sage Bath & Shower Gel. The fragrance is so fresh and uplifting in the morning, I cannot get enough of it!"
