We know it's hard to be physically apart from friends and family at the moment, but now presents an opportunity to show them just how much they mean to you and help to support those in need.
That's why we're allowing you to 'Create your own Care Package', with 20% of all purchases donated to Age Scotland to help those hardest hit and most vulnerable during this overwhelming situation we now find ourselves in. Giving back and supporting our local community is at the heart of what we do, and we are delighted to be able to help Age Scotland with their campaign to provide support to the most vulnerable during these difficult times.
How it Works
Step one: Create your care package
Simply select from our carefully curated collection of natural and cruelty-free hand care, body care and home fragrance gifts, to the minimum value of £40. From our signature After the rain Scent to the naturally nourishing properties of hydrating hand care collection, give them the gift of ARRAN with a selection of our bestselling gifts to brighten their day.
Step two: Add your personalised message
Once you've decided on the perfect gifts to send to your loved ones, make it personal with the option to add your own personalised message.
Step three: We'll donate 20% to Age Scotland
Allow us to take care of the rest. Not only will 20% from the sale of each care package go towards helping the most vulnerable, but we'll also ensure your gifts are delivered directly to your chosen recipient's doorstep.
A message from our CEO
“Since the start of the outbreak we’ve committed to helping our local community in any way that we can, whether that is with free soap to residents or providing essentials to homeless people so they can keep themselves clean while in temporary accommodation, but we wanted to go even further and extend that support across the country.
We know a lot of our customers are struggling with not being able to visit their parents or elderly relatives at the moment and are looking for ways to lift their spirits.
People were already sending our products as gifts so that those self-isolating could indulge in some self-care and luxury, as well as making their home environment feel a bit more inviting. So, we decided to add a charitable donation onto every purchase as a further contribution towards the crisis.
There’s also a feeling across the country that people want to help those who don’t have anybody to care for them – which is illustrated by the overwhelming response to the government’s volunteer scheme. Age Scotland was the perfect beneficiary as it supports elderly people who are most at risk of becoming seriously ill and who may be suffering from loneliness and financial hardship during self-isolation."
- Kevin Meechan, ARRAN Sense of Scotland CEO
A message from Age Scotland
“Thank you so much to ARRAN Sense of Scotland for their thoughtful support during this exceptionally challenging time. This is a period of great anxiety for everyone, but especially for older people and their loved ones. Age Scotland has seen a huge spike in calls to our helpline. Many of our callers are isolated and lonely with no-one else to turn to. We are committed to ensuring that we can offer reassurance and support, and be a voice at the end of the phone should older people feel scared or nervous and need to hear a friendly voice. Thank you for helping us respond to the growing needs and demands we’re seeing.’’
- Michelle Supple, Director of Charity Services at Age Scotland
