We're half way through the year now and if you have managed to keep up with those New Year's Resolutions then we salute you! Burn out may be causing a lack of motivation and drive so give yourself the best chance of a good day by waking up right.

We've compiled our list of our top tips to help you have the best start to your day.

1. Ditch the phone

If you find yourself reaching for your phone every morning to mindlessly scroll on social media, or start by checking work emails then you're setting yourself up for a less productive day. To start your day with peace and calmness, try not looking at your phone for at least the first hour of your morning. This will help bring positivity back into your morning routine, which can last the entire day.

2. Clear your space

Start your morning feeling accomplished by creating a clear space. We don't mean an hour clean of your home, but even small things like making your bed and airing your home can make a big difference. By making your bed you're tackling a task first thing, leaving you feeling accomplished and more motivated for the rest of the day.

3. Move your body

Exercise is known to be a great way to clear your mind and release endorphins. We recommend finding your favourite form of movement and make time for it in the mornings. This can be a quick walk, calming yoga or even your favourite HIIT class - choose something that makes you feel good for the rest of the day.

4. Refresh your senses

Showering in the morning can be a great way to wake up your body and mind. ARRAN Naturals Awaken Body Wash is the perfect addition to your morning showers, with the refreshing scents of Mint & Eucalyptus giving you a much needed boost to start your day. If you prefer to shower at night, you can still have the invigorating boost of Awaken with our Natural Deodorant (plus it's handbag friendly so you can take it with you!).

5. Eat a healthy breakfast

We've all heard it before, breakfast is the most important meal of the day but did you know one in five Brits skips breakfast*? Incorporating a healthy breakfast into your morning routine should help you focus more and give you more energy throughout the day.
