Mum's Favourite Competition 2025 - Terms & Conditions

The promoter of the Mum's Favourite Competition is: Arran Aromatics Ltd (trading as ARRAN Sense of Scotland) whose registered office is at 

International House, 14 King Street, Leeds, LS1 2HL

1. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of ARRAN Sense of Scotland and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
2. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. Up to 3 entries will be accepted per person. 
5. Closing date for entry will be 23rd March 2025. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
6. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
7. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows: To enter, submit your name and email address in the contact form. 
8. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
9. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
10. There is four prizes available, one grand prize worth over £1000 and three runner-up hampers from ARRAN Sense of Scotland worth £200.
11. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
12. Winner will be chosen at random.
    
13. The winner will be chosen at random from the entrants, and will be contacted by email - winner must respond within 48 hours or the prize will be re-drawn.
14. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
16. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
17. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
18. The winner’s name will be available 28 days after closing date by emailing the following address: info@arran.com.
19. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
20. The winner must bear financial responsibility for travelling to and from any prize location.
21. The grand prize is in conjunction with Caledonian Sleeper and Kingsmills Hotel and fulfilment of the luxury train travel and overnight stay, DBB package with Afternoon Tea is subject to both party's t&c's.
22. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to ARRAN Sense of Scotland and it’s relevant partners as detailed above. Caledonian Sleeper's T&Cs

1. Caledonian Sleeper complimentary travel is only available to book by contacting gsc@caledoniansleeper.scot quoting your name and the booking code shown in the offer letter.
2. Once a booking is accepted and confirmed by Caledonian Sleeper, all complimentary tickets will be sent as an email. You must print a copy of this email and bring it with you to ensure you are permitted to travel. 
3. Complimentary tickets will only be valid on Caledonian Sleeper services and will not be accepted by other train operators. For details of the Caledonian Sleeper network, please see our route map
4. The class of ticket offered is a return journey for two in a club en-suite room and is at the discretion of Caledonian Sleeper and shall be specified in the offer letter.
5. Booking codes are valid for redemption up to and including 30th November 2025 from the date of issue stated in the offer letter. Except for July and August 2025 and 13th – 31st October Inclusive.
6. Each booking code is unique and shall only be issued once. Caledonian Sleeper will not take any responsibility for lost booking codes. 
7. Booking codes are valid for one person and can only be used once.
8. Defaced or altered tickets or passes will become void and the holder will be refused admission.
9. This complimentary travel offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or reduction.
10. Complimentary travel is subject to availability. If there are no tickets available for your selected journey please select a different time or an alternative date. A break of journey is not permitted.
11. Bookings must be made no later than 1st September 2025 for travel on or before the 30th November and cannot be amended or transferred.

12.           Complimentary tickets will only be valid for the date and time printed on the ticket, which must be presented to the host upon boarding the train.

13. Complimentary tickets and booking codes have no monetary value and are not for resale or exchangeable for a cash alternative.
14. Complimentary tickets and booking codes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged or upgraded for any other merchandise or tickets.
15. By accepting the booking code, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.  Caledonian Sleeper reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice. You shall be subject to the terms in force at the time that the booking code is used.

16.           To the extent permitted by applicable law, Caledonian Sleeper accepts no liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising under these terms and conditions or suffered as a result of using the booking code or complimentary tickets, whether arising in tort, contract or otherwise.

17. Caledonian Sleeper reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or part of the service in circumstances beyond its reasonable control without any obligation to make any refunds or exchange tickets.
18. Should your service be cancelled or delayed, Caledonian Sleeper shall not be liable for any accommodation, travel or other costs incurred by you.
19. The National Rail Conditions of Travel apply to travel on all Caledonian Sleeper trains.
20. The Caledonian Sleeper Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Guest Charter applies to bookings of complimentary tickets on Caledonian Sleeper Trains.
21.  These terms and conditions are governed by English Law.

22.           Caledonian Sleepers shall Process personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation, for the booking of complimentary travel for the purposes stipulated in the Privacy Policy. 

Kingsmills Hotel T&Cs

1. Competition is for one night overnight stay for two at Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness, Culcabock Rd, Inverness IV2 3LP, with Afternoon Tea on arrival.

2. Voucher is valid until 31st March 2026.

3. Stay is subject to availability.

4. Your overnight stay will include complimentary use of the hotel’s leisure facilities and free parking. An upgrade to a family room would be available for an additional charge, subject to availability.

5. The Gift Voucher will feature a unique reference ID code, may only be redeemed once, may not be exchanged for cash, replaced if lost and is non-transferable.

6. The gift voucher must be presented upon arrival when redeeming the experience.

7. Advance bookings are necessary. Vouchers cannot be redeemed against existing reservations.

8. Cancellation of a booking with less than 24 hours notice will render the voucher null & void.
